Iran Holds Defense Drill Near Nuclear Plant

Iran on Monday announced they have conducted a defense drill over at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in the South of the country to increase the defense system’s abilities.

“This exercise took place at 5 a.m. local time (130 GMT) with full preparation and coordination with the armed forces,” said Mohammadtaqi Irani, Political, Security, and Social Deputy Governor of Iran’s Bushehr Provine.

The Armed Forces exercises were reportedly held in the south of Bushehr province and the Persian Gulf,

The exercise came after Iranian Commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarter, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid warned the Israeli regime and the US over any threat to the nuclear and military bases of Iran.

“Any threat to the nuclear and military bases of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Zionist regime is not possible without the green light and the support of the United States,” Rashid added.
