A fire broke out at the World Trade Centre in Causeway Bay in Hong Kong,leaving at least 12 people injured.
The fire reportedly started at 12:30 pm local time at an electrical switch room before it grew and spread into the scaffolding.
A video taken from inside the building has shown diners and kitchen staff panicking as smoke filled a restaurant.
More than 300 people were trapped on the rooftop as people tried to escape the smoke filling the building.
As of 3 pm, the fire was under control while 12 people suffered from smoke inhalation.
The smoke inhalation victims were later sent to Ruttonjee Hospital, Eastern Hospital, and Queen Mary Hospital.
