A 3.1 earthquake has struck Scotland in the early hours of the morning.
According to the USGS, the quake struck at 01:44:04 (UTC) located 56.128°N 5.671° with a depth of 10.0 km.
The tremors were felt as far away as Edinburgh and Ballycastle in Northern Ireland but no damage was reported.
There are no reported injuries yet while the local government has not yet released any announcements.
