UK Terror Threat Level Raised to “Severe”

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has raised the UK’s terror threat level to ‘severe’ after a COBRA meeting regarding the Liverpool Women’s Hospital suicide bombing.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said that the terror status had been raised from substantial to severe because they believed that another attack is highly possible.

“The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) is now increasing the UK threat level from substantial to severe. There is a reason for this, it’s because the incident we saw yesterday was the second in a month,” explained Patel.

There is no information yet on the bombing suspects and their motive for the attack.
