Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announced on Oct. 24 that he is currently self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
“I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines,” Sheeran said on his verified Instagram account.
“It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house,” Sheeran added.
Sheeran did not mention in the post if he was vaccinated. He also did not mention any symptoms he was having.
The announcement comes ahead of the release of his fourth studio album “=” on Oct. 29.
Sheeran, who lives near Framlingham in Suffolk, performed last week at the Earthshot Prize awards, hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in London.
