Ducati Recalls Model Year 2019 Hypermotard 950 SP Motorcycles Due to Faulty Side Stand

Ducati North America recalled 205 model year 2019 Hypermotard 950 SP motorcycles due to potential safety risk.

The side stand may be improperly welded, potentially causing it to break.

A broken side stand could result in the motorcycle falling down, increasing the risk of injury.

Dealers will install a new side stand free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 22, 2021.

There have been no reported incidents or injuries to date.
