One person has been killed and multiple people were injured during an on-campus shooting during a homecoming event at Grambling State University in Louisiana in Sunday.
According to a university spokesperson, approximately 1:15 a.am local time multiple shots were fired in the quad area of the university’s campus, resulting in several people becoming injured., and one person who was not a student died.
An investigation by the Louisiana State Police is underway and the university has canceled all homecoming events Sunday and classes on Monday,
