Pakistani parliament strongly supports relations with Iran and welcomes cooperation with the country.
The head of Pakistan’s Senate’s Iran-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, emphasizing the critical nature of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and fraternal ties between the two nations,
Senator Talha Mahmood expressed delight with the presence of an Iranian parliamentary delegation in Pakistan and called for increased interactions.
“Iran has a special place in Pakistan’s official and parliamentary policies, and we welcome the increase in these relations in all sectors,” he said in an interview.
“Iran-Pakistan relations are rooted in historical, religious, cultural, and social commonalities, and we have high respect for mutual values and beliefs,” Mahmood said.
The Pakistani senator noted that border stability is in both countries’ interests and avoids third-party misuse.
