Myanmar Photographer Wins Bayeux War Reporting Prize

An unnamed photographer from Myanmar has won the Bayeux War Reporting Prize.

Bayeux War Reporting Prize chairman and Franco-Iranian correspondent Manoocher Deghati said that the decision was unanimous among the jury.

The reason for the award was to highlight “the conditions in which very young photographers are working” in Myanmar.

The unnamed photographer’s work along with several other photographs from Myanmar taken throughout the coup was showcased Bayeux, the northern French city hosting the prize.
