Myanmar Junta Forces have reportedly razed several homes, fired on civilians, and abducted villagers in the Sagaing region.
According to several social media posts, the villages of Myinthei village and Kyikone Village were razed and ransacked by Junta forces a day after another village was burned to the ground in Mandalay.
There were no reported casualties but Ma Ei Phyu Win, a member of NLD was forcibly taken by troops along with 4 nurserymen.
Aside from Win and the nurserymen, Mohinga Matters claimed that 30 women were also abducted while the livestock of villagers was killed and consumed by the soldiers.
“I never thought of running from my own house even after the military bombed it… but as things got worse… I finally had to flee,” a female resident told AFP.
The Myanmar junta has not yet released a statement on the razing of the villages in Sagaing while there are no official figures on how much was destroyed.
