Kawasaki Motors recalled 1,523 motorcycles due to potential a safety risk.
The recall includes the following:
- Model year 2020-2021 Ninja H2
- Model year 2020-2021 Ninja H2 Carbon
- Model year 2020-2021 Ninja Z H2
- Model year 2021 Ninja H2 SX SE+
- Model year 2021 Ninja ZX-10R, ZX-10R ABS
- Model year 2021 Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition
- Model year 2021 Ninja ZX-10R ABS KRT Edition
- Model year 2021 Ninja ZX-10RR & Z H2 SE.
The engine oil pressure relief valve may come apart, causing a loss of oil pressure and possible engine stall.
An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace the relief valve, free of charge.
There have been no reported incidents or injuries to date.
