The Seoul National University Hospital was targeted by a ransomware attack and had its patient data leaked.
The Seoul National University Hospital released a memo on “Guidelines for Personal Information Leakage (Suspect) by Cyberattacks”, from June 5th to 11th and confirmed that they were breached.
Among the data that was leaked were registration numbers, patient names, and medical record names.
Resident registration numbers, contact numbers, and addresses however were not included.

The hospital did not disclose if they received a ransom or the extent of the damage caused by the ransomware attack.
