New Clashes Erupt at Al-Aqsa Mosque, West Bank, Jersusalem

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that nine Palestinians were injured after Israeli security personnel fired rubber bullets and tear gas against them. 

Of the nine injured, three were hospitalized due to the severity of their injuries. 

Middle East Eye journalist Latifeh Abdellatif has also been injured and hospitalized after getting shot in the knee with a rubber bullet. 

Israeli police reported that 14 Palestinians have been arrested at Al-Aqsa for alleged rioting. 

Among those arrested was identified as Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Abdulkarim Qaa’oud.

In the West Bank village of Beita, Palestinian protesters also clashed with Israeli soldiers after they too were dispersed with tear gas and rubber bullets.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 47 were wounded in Beita from inhalation of tear gas and blunt force trauma from the rubber bullets.
