Nissan Recalls Infiniti Vehicles for Stalling Issue

Nissan North America recalled over 24,000 of its own 24,140 model year 2020-2021 Nissan Armadas and INFINITI QX80s with V8 engines due to a potential safety risk.

The impeller can swell and bind within the fuel pump module, causing it to fail. The automaker said it will be sending out notification letters to owners by mid-July and that dealers will be replacing fuel pump modules in affected vehicles, free of charge.

There have been no reported incidents or injuries to date.
