Two people have been killed, and more than 20 people injured, in a mass shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Northwest Miami-Dade, Florida.
The shooting started just after 12:30 a.m. at the El Mula banquet hall, located at 7630 Northwest 186th Street, in an unincorporated area of the county west of Miami Gardens.
According to Miami-Dade Police Director Alfredo Ramirez, the attack appears to be targeted, after three people got out of a white Nissan Pathfinder armed with assault weapons and handguns and started firing into the crowd that had gathered for a concert being held at the venue.
At least eight victims were transported by ambulance to hospitals in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties while 12 others drove themselves to local hospitals.
No arrests have been made at this time and the shooters remain at large with a manhunt underway.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Miami-Dade Police authorities.
