Supreme Court in Poland Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

The buildings of Polish state institutions including the Supreme Court were evacuated due to a bomb threat on Tuesday, the court said on Tuesday.

According to the official Twitter account of the court, a threat was sent to the facility via email, and the evacuation is ongoing.

“As a result of information obtained by e-mail that an explosive had been placed in the Supreme Court building, the First President of the Supreme Court ordered the evacuation of the building,” an official statement from the court said.

The court also said on Twitter that security checks were to last until at least 10:30 a.m. GMT.

The Supreme Court and the National Council of the Judiciary have not yet given their comment, while the police have declined to comment.
