Israeli Air Defense System Intercepts Rocket Fired from Gaza

Israel has intercepted a rocket from the Gaza Strip on Sunday as three more were launched on Monday, according to authorities.

On Sunday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) posted a footage on Twitter of two rockets being fired towards Israel, saying no casualties were reported.

“The Iron Dome Aerial Defense System intercepted 1 of them. No Israeli casualties reported,” the IDF said.

A total of four rockets were fired from Gaza at Israel on Sunday as the military said IDF tanks struck Hamas targets in response.

On Monday, the military said another three rockets were fired.

“It’s 7AM. 3 more rockets have been fired toward southern Israel, disrupting what should have been a typical morning. Parents are waking their children and rushing them to bomb shelters,” they wrote in a tweet.

“The time for terror is not now, not ever,” the IDF added.
