Subaru Recalls Crosstreks, Crosstrek Hybrids and Foresters Due to Loose Rear Stabilizer Bracket

Subaru of America recalled 408,271 model year 2018-2019 Crosstreks, model year 2019 Crosstrek Hybrids, and model year 2019 Foresters due to potential safety risk.

The rear stabilizer bracket bolts may loosen and detach.

Missing bolts may allow the rear stabilizer bracket to shift, increasing the risk of a crash.

Subaru will notify owners, while dealers will retorque and replace any missing bolts, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin May 14, 2021.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
