Iran Allegedly Fired a Missile Toward an Israeli-owned Cargo Ship

Iranian forces have allegedly fired a missile toward the cargo ship Hyperion Ray, an Israeli-owned ship off the coast of the UAE. The projectile missed.

The attack happened after Iran vowed to avenge the alleged Israeli sabotage on the Natanz nuclear facility.

There were no reported casualties or injuries while the ship did not sustain any damage. 

The owners of the ship claimed that Hyperion Ray “had no damages and is continuing at full speed on its original voyage.”

The Hyperion Ray sailing under the Bahamas flag but is partially owned by Israeli businessman  Rami Ungar.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
