ClicRtechnologies donated a Bovine Solution System to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) Friday to assist with weighing practices of its livestock.
ABAC plans to utilize the ClicRweight Bovine Solution System at its J.G. Woodroof Farm. Eliminating transport for weighing, tracking genetics and reducing food costs are a few of the noted benefits of the new technology.
Mark Kistler, ABAC’s dean, announced the partnership as a way for students to better prepare for employment, as technology is largely recognized as the future of agriculture.
The donation comes a few weeks after a $2,000 wildlife viewing grant from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to the ABAC foundation.
