Porsche Cars North America Issues Recall on Various Models Due to Potential Driving Instability

Porsche Cars North America recalled certain vehicles due to potential safety risk.

The recall includes the following:

  • Model year 2019 Porsche Speedsters
  • Model year 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupes
  • Carrera 4S Coupes
  • Carrera S Cabriolets .

The screw connection on the rear axle upper control arm may be loose.

A loose connection may fail, causing driving instability and increasing the risk of a crash.

Porsche will notify owners, while dealers will rework and tighten the screw connection on the rear axle upper control arm, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin May 23, 2021.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
