Canadian College Signs Degree Pathway Agreement with U.S. College

The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) in South Carolina will now accept transfers from Canada’s Holland College retrofit carpentry program following an agreement in March.

ACBA is the only four-year institution in North America to offer a bachelor’s degree in traditional building arts, and Holland College’s carpentry program is the only one in the world to be approved by ACBA for a degree pathway agreement.

Holland College students must maintain an overall average of 70 percent or better to be eligible for the transfer, which is equivalent to a 2.7 GPA or better.

There were 26,122 international students from Canada attending United States colleges as of 2019.
