BATTOP Recalls Infant Bath Seats Due to Failure to Meet the Federal Safety Standard

BATTOP of China recalled about 5,000 foldable infant bath seats due to potential safety risk.

The bath seats fail to meet the federal safety standard for infant bath seats, including requirements for stability, and can tip over while in use, posing a drowning hazard to babies.

This recall involves plastic BATTOP foldable infant bath seats with white seats with blue, green, or gray restraint bars and four white suction cups on the bottom.

The company urges consumers to immediately stop using the recalled infant bath seats and to contact BATTOP for instructions on returning them with free shipping to receive a full refund. 

Amazon, on behalf of BATTOP,  will be contacting all known purchasers directly as well.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
