National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation Awards Four $1,000 Scholarships to Penn College Students

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) Foundation awarded four $1,000 scholarships to Pennsylvania College of Technology students during the NALP’s 45th annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition in March.

The virtual event announced Nick Bianchi, Erick Kennedy, Joanne Kim and Cyra Sterner as the recipients. Bianchi and Kim are enrolled in the school’s landscape program, while Kennedy and Sterner are enrolled in the plant production program.

The scholarships were made possible by donations from The Ruppert Landscape Company, RM Landscape, Chapel Valley Landscape Co. and Jacobsen Landscape Design.

The NALP, with the support of donors, has awarded over $1 million in academic scholarships over the last two decades.
