Land Rover Recalls Model Year 2020 Range Rover Evoques Due to Loose Lower Knee Airbag Cushion Cover

Land Rover recalled 250 model year 2020 Range Rover Evoques.

The cushion cover on the left-side lower knee airbag may come loose, which could result in the cushion unfolding from the airbag module housing.

An unfolded knee airbag may not offer the driver full protection in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Land Rover will notify owners, while dealers will replace the left-side lower knee airbag module, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin May 7, 2021.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
