Lamborghini Recalls Aventador SVJ Coupes Due to Potential Safety Risk

Lamborghini recalled 221 model year 2018-2021 Aventador SVJ Coupes due to potential safety risk.

The hood hinge screws may loosen, possibly resulting in an unlatched hood, which could cause the hood to detach from the vehicle in certain high-speed driving conditions.

A detached hood can pose a road hazard and increase the risk of injury or even death during a crash.

Lamborghini has notified owners, while dealers will replace the hood hinge screws, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin April 9, 2021.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
