Yamaha Motor Corporation Recalls Motorcycles due to Potential Safety Risk

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA recalled 2,285 model year 2016-2020 Yamaha FJR13A and FJR13AE motorcycles due to potential safety risk.

Owners are advised not to operate their motorcycle until the repairs have been performed.

Yamaha has notified owners, while dealers has inspected and reprogramed the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and replaced the main axle and drove axle assemblies, free of charge.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
