Brembo Recalls Brake Pads due to Potential Safety Risk

Brembo S.p.A recalled 28,300 Brembo brake pads, model BRM10B, part number 07988236/07B80923 due to potential safety risk.

The Tungaloy pads could potentially corrode, and cause detachment of the brake pad friction material from the backing plate.

If the brake pad friction material detaches from the backing plate, then it may lengthen the stopping distance needed, increasing the risk of injury or even death during a crash.

Brembo has informed consumers, while dealers has replaced all Tungaloy Pads with improved pads, free of charge.

There have been no reported incidents to date.
