2021 SAG Award Nominees

Thursday, February 4th, the Screen Actors Guild announced nominees for the 2021 SAG Awards slated for April 4th. Daveed Diggs and Lily Collins made the announcement via Instagram live. The announcement comes after a disappointing Golden Globe nominations list that excluded widely acclaimed movies and TV shows including Michaela Coel’s “I May Destroy You”.

The nominees are selected by two committees for movies and TV shows, then all 160,000 SAG members get to vote for the winners.

Popular nominees include Michaela Coel for her role in “I May Destroy You” and the late Chadwick Boseman for his roles in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” and “Da 5 Bloods”.

The awards show will be simulcast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, April 4th.
