House-Autry Mills Recalls Tartar Sauce due to Potential Spoilage

House-Autry Mills recalled 9-oz. Bottles of House-Autry Tartar Sauce due to potential spoilage, making it unsuitable for consumption.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), common signs and symptoms of a person who consumed spoiled food are abdominal cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, mild fever, fatigue, nausea and headaches.

The recalled products were sold to distribution centers in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio.

In response to this, House-Autry Mills has provided information to the retailers who have purchased the recalled product. 

They urge retailers to contact their customers to facilitate the return of the spoiled products.

The company also encourages consumers who have purchased the recalled tartar sauce to not consume it and to throw it away or return it to point-of-sale for a full refund.

No other House-Autry Mills products were affected or involved in this recall. 

There have also been no reported illnesses to date.
