Marilyn Manson Dropped by Record Labels Over Abuse Claims

Marilyn Manson has been officially dropped from Loma Vista Recordings and two television appearances after facing abuse claims from Evan Rachel Wood and four other women.

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately. Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects,” announced Loma Vista.

Wood, who was Manson’s ex-fiance accused him of sexual, physical abuse, and manipulation throughout the relationship.

“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years,” said Wood.

After Wood shared her grievances against Manson, four other women also came forward with similar allegations.

Manson said the allegations against him are distorted and claimed that all his relationships were consensual.

“Obviously my art and life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” said Manson.

Wood however has not stated whether she has gone to authorities with any of her allegations or filed a complaint.
