During the LA Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, LeBron James got into an argument with an Atlanta fan sitting court side.
After the argument, security removed the individual from the game. After speaking with James after the game, he expressed that he did not think that they deserved to be removed, and that he is happy that fans are back in the building.
“I don’t feel like it was warranted to be kicked out”, said James in an interview with the press following the Lakers victory on Monday. “We said our piece, he said his piece, I said my piece, then someone else jumped into it and said their piece.”
This is not the first time James has had negative interactions with fans, but says that he uses these as fuel to boost his performance in game, stating that he always loves the fourth quarter.
The Lakers would go on to win their game against the Hawks, 107 to 99. The Lakers are now 12 games up on the road, and will return home to LA for 10 of their remaining 15 games this season.
