Belgian PM Alexander De Croo’s house in the Flanders town of Brakel has been tagged with multiple swastikas by unidentified vandals.
The swastikas made with bright green paint were found all over his residence including De Croo’s letterbox.
De Croo said that the vandalism was “an attempt to intimidate his family and children.
It is still unknown why his house was tagged despite not being Jewish but it was speculated that it was done by far-right protesters who were against the national lockdown.
Flemish far-right movement “Ons Land” (Our Country) members reportedly rallied near his house over the weekend but were prevented by police from approaching.
“An investigation is underway into the case,” said the East Flanders public prosecutor’s office.
