Pelosi Demands Stripping Trump of Nuclear Code Authority

U.S. Hoise Speaker Nancy Pelosi has asked the Pentagon about preventing an allegedly unstable President Donald Trump from launching a military conflict or using nuclear codes.

U.S. Hoise Speaker Nancy Pelosi has asked the Pentagon about preventing an allegedly unstable President Donald Trump from launching a military conflict or using nuclear codes.

Pelosi announced her move in a letter titled: “Preventing an Unhinged President From Using the Nuclear Codes.”

“The situation of this unhinged President could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy,” said Pelosi.

The letter was released before Pelosi was to discuss impeachment options for Trump with her Caucus.

“As you know, there is growing momentum around the invocation of the 25th Amendment, which would allow the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to remove the President for his incitement of insurrection and the danger he still poses,” said Pelosi in reference to the Insurrection at the Capitol last Wednesday.

Despite claiming that there will be a “smooth” and “orderly” transition of power, Trump never acknowledged his defeat to President-elect Joe Biden.
