Trump Continues Claims of Fraud In Video Message to Protestors and Insurrectionists

Moments after president-elect Joe Biden’s address in which the former vice president called the unfolding event an “insurrection” Trump continued to stoke partisan division.

As protesters continue to fill the United States Capital President Trump urged rioters to “just go home”.

Moments after president-elect Joe Biden’s address in which the former vice president called the unfolding event an “insurrection” Trump continued to stoke partisan division.

“I know your pain. I know your hurt… we had an election stolen from us,” said Trump. “This is a fraudulent election but we cannot play into the hands of these people.”

The address follows an earlier tweet in which the President urged protesters to remember that “WE are the party of law and order.”

Twitter has since disabled likes and commenting on a recording of the President’s speech on Twitter citing an increased “risk of violence.”
