Hail and rain caused flash floods in Sucre, Bolivia leaving at least four people dead.
The hailstorm suddenly hit the city at 18:45 local time (22:45GMT) and lasted around 30-minutes.
Videos shared on social media showed water rushing down the streets dragging along cars, buses, entering homes, and market stalls.
Chuquisaca Police Colonel Jhonny Mancilla said that one female and two male residents were killed by the flooding.
Among those who died, the female and one of the male victims were vendors who were swept away by floods while the other male died due to hypothermia.
According to Interior Minister Eduardo del Castillo, three children and three adults were still missing and seven had been injured.
The Governor of Chuquisaca, Efraín Balderas, is expected to meet with the Vice Minister of Civil Defense, Juan Carlos Calvimontes, and authorities of the municipalities to come up with a response to the disaster.
Municipal officials have started removing the hail, debris and garbage left by the storm and responding to the injured.
