At least four people suffered gunshot wounds in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district after a sudden shooting occurred early Saturday morning.
The shooting reportedly took place in a gateway on Stresemannstrasse, near the offices of the center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD), and was done by unidentified gunmen.
Local German media outlet DPA said one of the victims was found shot in the leg in a canal while the rest were lying on a driveway.
The shooting victims were all taken to the hospital and have not yet given statements on why they were targeted.
Police had no information on who was behind the attack and refused to disclose further information regarding their investigation.
