Cargo Ship Capsizes off Vietnam, 15 Missing

At least 15 sailors are missing as Panama-flagged cargo ship sank off the coast of Vietnam’s central Binh Thuan province.

At least 15 sailors are missing as Panama-flagged cargo ship sank off the coast of Vietnam’s central Binh Thuan province.

A search operation is underway to find the 15 missing crew men, which are 11 Chinese nationals and four Vietnamese. 

According to a report, the captain of the ship has contacted authorities on Phu Quy island about a problem with the ship and had asked permission to dock.

However, the ship was 1.5 nautical miles from Phu Quy port when it capsized.
