Approximately 1,000 people have protested outside a government building located in the Bosnia, Sarajevo after an opposition lawmaker has published disturbing photos of special needs children being tied to their beds and radiators in a nearby government facility.

The protest has included the scores of the parents and relatives of the disabled children, who described a dysfunctional care system that leads their kids to their suffering.

The Pazaric care home has already been investigated after a new manager, who took over last June, warned local authorities of his predecessor’s alleged corruption.

Aside from financial mismanagement, the home was condemned for the level of care it has provided.

According to Cudic, the home did not even have a licensed therapist until a year ago.

Moreover, only one untrained individual was present for the night shift.
