The US stock market jumped, with investors in the United State and all over the world betting that a COVID-19 vaccine will be available sooner than expected.

On Tuesday, the Dow Jones rose 0.63 percent to end at 29,823.92 points, while the S&P 500 gained 1.13 percent to close at 3,662.45, and the Nasdaq 100 climbed 1.28 percent to close at 12,355.11.

In Asia, the HSI jumped 0.86 percent to be at 26567.68, while Japan0s NIKKEI jumped 1.34 percent to be at 26767.54 and China’s SHANGHAI jumped 1.77 percent to be at 3451.94. In European markets, the STOXX jumped 0.50 percent to be at 3069.33 and the FTSE jumped 1.89 percent to be at 6384.73.

In commodities, oil prices jumped 0.11 percent to be at $44,60 per barrel, while natural gas prices fell 0.07 percent to be at $2,88 per BTU.

Meanwhile, platinum prices jumped 0.32 percent to be at $1,007 per ounce while copper prices jumped 0.66 percent to be at $3,51 per pound. Also, gold prices jumped 0.01 percent to be at $1,819 per ounce and silver prices jumped 0.19 percent to be at $24,14 per ounce.

In currencies, the Euro fell 0.9784 percent to be at $0,8299 per US dollar, while the Yen jumped 0.1055 percent or 0.1100 points, and the Sterling fell 0.6795 percent to be at $0,7454 per US dollar.
