Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro blamed interim president and opposition leader Juan Guaido for US President Donald Trump’s defeat in the presidential election against Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

During a Friday morning press conference in Venezuelan capital Caracas, Maduro said he received on Thursday night a message from a member of the Trump administration he refused to identify. which said that the election result ended up with Republican leader losing because he trusted in Guaido.

Maduro also criticized President Trump for recognizing Guido as the legitimate president of Venezuela, pointing out that “You preferred to bet on an imbecile and that imbecile led you to defeat. Trump made a huge bet by providing full support to Guaido and these are the results of that disastrous plan. He destroyed the Venezuelan economy and he destroyed his chances of getting reelected.”

On Thursday, a team of President Trump’s campaign lawyers claimed that an alleged nationwide vote fraud is the result of a conspiracy among members of the Democratic party, a voting machine company in Canada, and the leftist regimes of Cuba, Venezuela and China.
