NASA has been developing a “megarocket” that will be able to send humans to the Moon, and eventually, to Mars as well. 

The giant launcher’s core section is expected to undergo the last critical tests within the next few weeks.

Measuring 212ft from top to bottom, the space vehicle is more powerful than anything that the world has seen since the 1960s.

Under Nasa’s Artemis program, the next man and first woman that will soon be dispatched to the moon in 2024. 

This will be the first crewed landing on the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.
