Stock Market Fell in Pre-Market Trading Session

The US stock market fell in Thursday’s pre-market trading session as markets keep churning after big gains earlier in the week. The Dow Jones fell 0.03 percent to be at 29,397,63, while the S%P 500 fell 0.01 percent to be at 3572,66 and the Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.05 percent to be at 11.786,43.

The US stock market fell in Thursday’s pre-market trading session as markets keep churning after big gains earlier in the week. 

The Dow Jones fell 0.03 percent to be at 29,397,63, while the S%P 500 fell 0.01 percent to be at 3572,66 and the Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.05 percent to be at 11.786,43.

In Asia, the HSI fell 0.22 percent to be at 26169.38 points, while Japan’s NIKKEI jumped 0.68 percent to be at 25520.88 and China’s SHANGHAI fell 0.11 percent to be at 3338.68. In European markets, the STOXX fell 1.01 percent to be at 3060.85 and the FTSE fell 0.68 percent to be at 6338.87.

In commodities, oil prices fell 0.53 percent to be at $42,23 per barrel, while natural gas prices fell 0.66 percent to be at $3,01 per BTU.

Meanwhile, platinum prices jumped 0.43 percent to be at 871,80 per ounce, while copper prices jumped 0.34 percent to be at $3,14 per pound. Also, gold prices jumped 0.42 percent to be at $1,869 per ounce and silver prices jumped 0.07 percent to be at $24,28 per ounce.

In currencies, the Euro fell 0.2591 percent to be at $0,8468 per US dollar, while the Yen fell 0.1139 percent or 0.1200 points and the Sterling jumped 0.5423 percent to be at $0,7602 per US dollar.
