Nurse Charged for the Murder of Eight Babies and Attempted Murder of Ten at UK Hospital

Lucy Letby, a 30-year-old british nurse, was charged for the murder of eight (8) babies and for the attempted murder of 10 others after being arrested for the third time in relation with the horrific crimes that has occurred at a hospital’s neonatal unit since 2016.

According to the outlet, the hospital has conducted investigations when health-care workers have found that premature babies had suffered lung and heart failures.

“The Crown Prosecution Service has authorized Cheshire Police to charge a healthcare professional with murder in connection with an ongoing investigation into a number of baby deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital,” according to a statement.

After Letby’s arrest this week, the parents of all the victims have been kept updated of the developments in the case and were accepting emotional support by trained officers.
