Bomb Blast During WW1 Memorial in Jeddah Leaves 4 Injured

A bomb blast left four people wounded during a ceremony commemorating the end of World War I attended by EU dignitaries at a cemetery in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.

A bomb blast left four people wounded during a ceremony commemorating the end of World War I attended by EU dignitaries at a cemetery in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.

“The annual ceremony commemorating the end of World War I at the non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah, attended by several consulates, including that of France, was the target of an IED attack this morning, which injured several people,” confirmed France’s foreign ministry.

France’s foreign ministry condemned the attack and called on the Saudi authorities/

Saudi Authorities have not yet released any other details on the attack or its perpetrators.
