Joe Biden Wins the US Presidential Election

President-elect Joe Biden has won the US Presidential election over incumbent Donald Trump despite the voting count delays.

President-elect Joe Biden has won the US Presidential election over incumbent Donald Trump despite the voting count delays.

AP, NBC, CNN, The New York Times,  the Washington Post, and other news outfits called the election for Biden shortly after 11 a.m. EST.

“In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted. Proving once again, that democracy beats deep in the heart of America. With the campaign over, it’s time to put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation,” said Biden in an announcement after the major networks called hi victory.

Biden managed to beat the 270 electoral votes by flipping the battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania after days of delayed counting.

The 20 votes from Pennysylvania earned him the much needed 20 points to win the race.

Despite the called victory, Georgia, Arizona North Carolina, and Nevada are still currently counting ballots.

Biden asked patience from his supporters and told them to wait until all the ballots have been counted.
