Brexit Talks Continues for Another Week

British and EU Brexit negotiators have continued their discussion in Brussels today until about mid-week, representatives on both sides have announced.

British and EU Brexit negotiators have continued their discussion in Brussels today until about mid-week, representatives on both sides have announced.

These negotiations are a final bid to start a new partnership for when Britain will transition out of the European Union at the end of this year.

If the sides are able to overcome their differences, the new deal would take control of everything from energy and trade to fisheries and transportation.

However, if they fail to do so, approximately $900 billion of annual bilateral trade in services and goods would be damaged from the quotas and tariffs.

Reuters reported that both sides are ready to compromise on fisheries and that Paris was already laying the groundwork to accept the deal.

Due to this, businesses and financial markets are anxious as the EU and Britain decide on their fate.
