Jeremy Corbyn, former labour leader, has been suspended from the party and has had the whip taken out.

Jeremy Corbyn, former labour leader, has been suspended from the party and has had the whip taken out.

The Equality and Human rights Commission (EHRC) discovered that Labour broke the law in how it dealt with the antisemitism complaints when Corbyn was the leader.

It claimed that there were “serious failings” in its leadership and political interference in Corbyn’s office.

The party was also found to be responsible for “unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination.”

As a result, the party had suspended Corbyn and so he is no longer part of the Labour within Parliament.

Corbyn can remain as an MP, but is now independent.
